1. Establish an accountability system for Chamber Board volunteers.
2. Establish a brick and mortar location for Preston Area Chamber of Commerce that serves as an information center and includes paid Staff.
3. Build a youth entrepreneurship program supporting 50 youth annually.

1. Create a network of 15 resources to support the needs of existing businesses in the area.
2. Assemble resources and information to help start-up businesses, accessible both in person and virtually.

4. Initial plans are being to hold, at least, monthly luncheons dedicated to business/professional development and networking.

To educate chamber members and to work with legislators and public officials on issues that affect the well being of the business community in the greater Preston area.

1. Create public policy communication between businesses, policy makers, and influencers.
2. Identify and evaluate current local, county, and state policies and organize community to prioritize and move forward with business-friendly policy changes.

1. Check out Idaho’s Bill Tracker at legislature.idaho.gov and follow along as legislation goes through the bill process. You get to choose the bills you want to follow and get email updates, or you can log in to the website and see where they are at.

– You must create an account with a valid email address.
– Once you have validated your account, you can customize your list and add the bills you want to follow.
– You can choose to be notified by email when a new action occurs on any of the bills on your list(s), add your own notes to bills on your lists, and print your list(s).

2. The Public Policy Committee has organized a monthly call with our local representatives to create a direct line from our little corner of Idaho, right to the state capital. These calls are currently by invitation.
