We are taking nominations for the Annual Chamber Business of the Year Award! This prestigious honor recognizes outstanding businesses that have made significant contributions to our community.  We want to know who you think should receive this recognition. We are looking for businesses that fit the following criteria.
Basic requirements:

1. Must have been in business in the area for more than 1 year.
2. Must be a paid business member of the Chamber.

 Award Criteria: 

For each nomination, these four things will be discussed and the nominated business will be assigned a number (1-5) based on how well they rank for each criteria. Then scores will be tallied and the one with the most votes will be business of the year.

1. Chamber Activity
2. Economic Impact/Employment
3. Service in the Community
4. Representative of Chamber Vision, Mission, and Values:

• VISION Driving the perpetual betterment of business and community.
• MISSION We promote economic success and a strong sense of community by engaging effectively with member businesses, facilitating their growth and development, collaborating with service groups, and understanding and influencing public policy.
• VALUES Loyalty, Action, Transparency, Accountability, Equity, Trust, Innovation

Check out the list of eligible businesses and submit your nominations by 5:00 pm on Friday, November 28, 2025. Please include the name of the business and a short write-up explaining how they fit the criteria and deserve to be considered for the award.  *Businesses associated with current Board Members are up for nomination, but will not be included in the vote. 

After the deadline, the Chamber Board will review nominations based on the criteria, tally the votes, and identify the winner. The winning business will be announced and awarded at our Annual Banquet on Thursday, January 22, 2026, from 6 – 8 pm. at the Robinson Building.
